DRAW LENGTH ADJUSTMENT FOR NOMAD

NOMAD ADJUSTMENT CAM
29” (29 1/4” TO 29 1/2”) 3.5
28” (28 1/4” TO 28 1/2”) 4.5
27” (27 1/4” TO 27 1/2”) 5.5
30” (30 1/4” TO 30 1/2”) 6.5

Any 1/4” adjustment will require correcting the adjustment to the knocking point
on the string. From the factory the strings end loops are set on post (A) for both cams. The cams can be adjusted separately or together by moving the strings
(end loops) from one string post to the other. Separately gives you 1/4” longer
draw length adjustment and together is a 1/2” longer adjustment.

DRAW LENGTH ADJUSTMENT FOR BOW LOGIC

1. Loosen screws (A) and (B) - see figure 1. (Do not remove screws)
2. Rotate the module so that screw (A) lines up with the desired draw length.
(Note: the tick-marks are the 1/2 marks so that the tick-mark between each number represents a 1/2 draw length.)
3. Tighten screw (A) first ensuring that it fully seats in the correct detent. DO NOT TIGHTEN ON THE RIDGE BETWEEN THE DETENTS. (Refer to figure 2 for the correction positioning - figure 3 shows incorrect positioning.)

4. Tighten screw (B) second and ensure that both screws are fully tightened.
5. Loosen screw (C) for the draw stop post.
6. Position screw (C) to achieve desired let-off and valley. (Hint: moving the draw stop lower towards 30 increases the valley and let-off percentage.
7. Check the tightness of the screws periodically. (especially after the first 100
shots)

The team at Kodiak Outdoors thanks you for your purchase. We are excited to provide you with the most technologically advanced products available in the industry today, although highly advanced and innovative, your new Kodiak bow is also the most user-friendly. When properly maintained, our unique blend of sophisticated design and simple setup, it will bring you years of hassle free shooting enjoyment.

DRAW LENGTH - Depending on the model of the Kodiak Outdoors bow you purchased, you will be able to adjust the draw length over a specified range. Your Draw length should be adjusted so that with a slightly bent elbow on the bow arm, you can touch the string to the tip of your nose at full draw. The draw length can be adjusted by loosening the 2 screws on the cam module and rotating the module to the desired setting. Retighten the screws, then adjust the draw stop to the corresponding setting for the draw length and let-off desired. Please refer to the detailed instructions for your model of bow.

DRAW WEIGHT - The Draw weight of your new bow can be adjusted within a range of approximately 10 pounds depending on the draw weight of the bow you purchased. Adjustments of more than 10 pounds are not recommended and will affect the performance of your new bow. The draw weight is adjusted by turning the limb bolts counter clockwise to reduce the draw weight, or to the right to increase it. CAUTION: NEVER BACK OUT THE LIMB BOLTS MORE THAN 5 COMPLETE TURNS FROM THE BOTTOMED OUT POSITION. SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR.

KNOCKING POINT - The knocking point of your arrow is dependent upon the type and setup of the arrow rest. As a rule of thumb if the string is vertical the knocking point should be placed so that the arrow is at 90 degrees to the string when the arrow passes across the burger button on the riser (the hole in the riser above the shelf). If you are using a fall-away rest the knocking point should be set with the rest in the full up position.
